According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), inflation fell to 3.0% in the 12 months to January 2026, down from 3.4% in December 2025. It’s encouraging news that the rate at which prices are rising is slowing down, but we’re not out of the woods just yet. Many people are still struggling to put food on the table, which is where we step in, rescuing food that would otherwise go to waste.
